Be
Fervent in Spirit
Rom 12:11 tells us to be "fervent in
spirit"
ISV - Be on fire with the Spirit
We must be people fervent in spirit in order to withstand
pressures, persecutions and warfare. Our God given dreams
cannot be accomplished by talent and drive alone. We can dream
a thing. We can hear a thing. We can know it is from
God. But there must come a day when the dream is
implemented. We must eventually decide to
"do."
We must be willing to prepare and act according to the
purpose God has given us. As we do this the favor of God will
follow us. There is reward for those who are willing to step
out.
Ps 126:5 Those who sow in tears shall reap in
joy.
We must be like the man who will do anything to quench
his thirst. When someone has come through trials and endured
the long wait for his time to come, he will know that he has come to
the Kingdom for such a time as this. This is the person who
will refuse to be denied. He will not be talked out of his
purpose. He will not allow himself to be
distracted.
We must realize that when we are in the time of tears,
we are watering the dreams of our life. There must be tears in
the time of our struggle, but joy is waiting for the one who
endures!
